SAFE
Shaping the Future: Environmental Education and Aesthetics

SAFE is an Erasmus + project, a KA2 small-scale partnership. It is a collaboration between schools in Sweden, Portugal, Spain and Turkiye. The topics are sustainable development and the aesthetics of nature. Together, we will create teaching content to meet the huge challenge of our time with climate change. With this project, we want to create an understanding among our students that we can all be involved and can influence, by making wise decisions, in large and small ways. Part of our project is also to highlight our beautiful nature. We are convinced that it is an important piece of the puzzle for making good and wise decisions. Climate change is something we must tackle together on an international level and by sharing with each other and collaborating across borders in the school world, albeit on a small scale, we will be involved in influencing the next generation of decision-makers.
The project will run from September 2024 until June 2026. During this time, teachers at each school will visit each other to create teaching content together through knowledge acquisition and workshops. This content will then be implemented with students at the schools, evaluated and refined. Everything will be collected on this common website.
